Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how GDI — Global Demand Intelligence (“GDI”, “we”, “our”, or “the Service”) handles information when users access the Service or connect third-party data sources.
1. Information we process
Depending on the features a user chooses to use, GDI may process:
- account and workspace information provided by the user;
- technical information required to operate and secure the Service;
- OAuth authorization information used to connect supported third-party services;
- market, advertising, trend, reporting or related data that a user authorizes GDI to retrieve from connected services;
- saved research items, watchlists, usage information and other content created inside GDI.
2. Google user data
When a user connects a Google service, GDI accesses Google user data only after the user grants permission through Google OAuth. The exact data available to GDI depends on the scopes and permissions approved by the user.
GDI uses Google user data only to provide user-requested product functionality, such as:
- retrieving authorized advertising or reporting data;
- displaying and organizing authorized metrics inside GDI;
- creating user-requested analyses, comparisons and saved opportunity records;
- maintaining the connected integration and troubleshooting it when necessary.
GDI does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising unrelated to the Service. GDI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Storage and retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain connected integrations, satisfy legitimate security and operational needs, or comply with applicable law. Users may disconnect supported integrations and may request deletion of account-related information.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information or Google user data. We may use service providers that help us host, secure, maintain or operate GDI. Such providers receive information only as necessary to perform those services and are expected to protect it appropriately.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed by GDI. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect their own credentials and account access.
6. User choices and control
Users can choose whether to connect supported third-party services. Where supported, users may disconnect an integration or revoke access through the third-party provider. For Google connections, users can also review or revoke access through their Google Account permissions.
7. Data deletion requests
Users may request deletion of account-related information by contacting hello@getgdi.com. We may retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or legitimate recordkeeping.
8. Children
GDI is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for business and research use.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
